I went in to get the solenoid valve fixed I believe so I would be able to pass emissions. I was told it was going to be 1 hour or an hour and a half. I went to go for a walk and I didn’t have a ride home for the time being as I was told that the work wouldn’t take that long. I went to go for a walk and was called and told that I would be paying pretty much 100$ or so extra because they failed to purchase the correct part for my car. They then told me it was going to be HOURS until the car was ready due to the part not being there so I not only had to pay more for the part they mis ordered but had to wait an extra 2 hours or so for the car to be ready. Looking back I should’ve demanded they cover the difference for their own employees mistake and it is upsetting that that was not offered for the massive inconvenience. I passed emissions that’s worth one extra star I suppose.
Having never seen your vehicle before, not having the specific vehicle information, and going on someone else's diagnosis, we ordered the part as best as we could. When we found out it was incorrect, we immediately contacted you with the updated information. Since that part wasn't close, it took a while to receive and install. For any diagnostic emission type repair, we always suggest dropping it off as it's always more complicated than an oil change. I am glad it successfully resolved your emission issue.
